This past weekend, we fell in love with an eleven-pound lump at the animal shelter. I can’t say if it was the big green eyes, the belly, or perhaps the underbite that sold us, but in any case, we knew at once that we belonged with Beatrice. From the very first moment we held her, as she dug her little claws into our shoulders and nuzzled against our necks, she had a paw on each of our hearts.
Bea spends her days mostly lounging on or underneath Madeline’s bed. Her loud purring resonates through our little basement suite - which is a cozier, homier place with her in it - and only on the rarest and moodiest of occasions is she not 100% stoked to cuddle. This afternoon she and I had a perfect eskimo kiss! We’re absolutely smitten with the kitten. Expect to see her silly little face a lot more.
I cant get enough of this.
